Samson NEW M-LOK® Handguard
Our new K-rail is a game changer. This M-LOK® Handguard for AKs is comprehensive and user friendly to install, from the adjustable handguard alignment system to the different versions which accommodate a preferred sling attachment style.
No gunsmithing required, though you may need minor fitment or filing depending on your rifle.
Our new K-Rail fits most stamped AKM rifles and comes in two versions;
- Sling loop cut out
- Non sling loop version with integrated ambidextrous QD point for modern sling attachments

- Allows for optic mounting on top rail
- Works with factory gas tube
- Does not require removal of lower handguard retainer
- Adjustable! Twistable wedges in receiver block allow for rotation of handguard as needed for alignment
- Extended lip index point allows you to feel when your thumb is getting too close to the gas tube.
- Recessed screws to prevent burns
- Compatible with after market gas tube rails

Ive had this handguard, sling cut version, for about a year now and it’s awesome. Lightweight, strong, simple/fast to install and it just works. Worth 5 stars for sure. It would be awesome to see additional options for longer/extended handguards
